Bookkeeper & Office Administration
Our client operates a manufacturing business in Shepparton and is looking for an Experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts/Finance Officer to join their team.
You will be a financial professional responsible for recording and maintaining financial transactions and playing a pivotal role in keeping track of income, expenses, and overall financial health in consultation with the external Company Accountant and the Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll
- Inventory management
- End of month reporting and other mandatory reporting
- Data Entry
- General office admin duties – including mail, answering of phones, liaising with staff and contractors
- Perform other administration duties as assigned from time to time by accountant or manager
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Bookkeeping/Accounting qualifications and/or experience
- A sound working knowledge of Xero (highly regarded)
- A sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office in particular Excel & Word
- Payroll Knowledge & Experience
- The ability to multitask efficiently with an eye for detail
- The ability to maintain and provide reports on financial records with accuracy and timeliness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player.
The successful candidate will be able to set their own hours within reason and after discussion with the Management Team. The sucessful candidate will need to work full-time hours.
